How To Use Aerosol Spray Paint.
A step-by-step guide to repairing scuffs and larger paint defects at home using our colour-matched 400ml aerosol spray.

Clean & Prepare
Wash and dry the affected area. Remove wax, silicone and grease using the included degreaser wipe. Gently feather loose paint and rough edges where necessary.

Mask & Prime
Mask nearby trim, glass and undamaged paint using masking tape and paper. Sand and prepare the surface as required. If bare metal or plastic is exposed, apply a compatible primer and allow it to dry before spraying.

Shake & Test
Shake the 400ml aerosol thoroughly as directed on the can. Test the colour and spray pattern on a separate card or hidden area first. Work only in a suitable well-ventilated area, away from flames or ignition sources, with appropriate protective equipment.

Spray Light Coats
Hold the can approximately 15–25cm from the surface, unless your product instructions specify otherwise. Keep the can moving in smooth, overlapping passes. Apply several light coats, allowing the recommended flash-off time between coats. Avoid heavy, wet passes and runs.

Lacquer & Cure
Allow the colour coat to flash off or dry as specified for your paint system. Apply compatible clear lacquer where required, particularly over metallic basecoat finishes. Leave the repair protected while the coating cures before handling, washing or polishing.
