When Do You Need Primer or Lacquer?
Primer
Use primer where the damage exposes bare metal or plastic, after rust removal, or when the surface needs sealing before colour. It is not normally required over sound original paint.
Clear Lacquer

How to Apply the Touch Up Bottle
1Clean and Degrease
Wash the repair, remove wax and grease, then remove loose paint and smooth sharp edges.
2Prime if Required
Use a small amount of primer only where bare metal or plastic is exposed. Allow it to dry.
3Build Thin Paint Layers
Shake well, remove excess paint from the brush and apply several thin layers rather than one heavy coat.
4Lacquer and Cure
